About Us

My name is Nick Lundy and I am eighteen years old. I was born and raised in Manhattan Beach, California before coming to Grinnell. I attended and graduated from Mira Costa High School where I played on the basketball team for all four years. I have one little brother (Andrew) who is two years younger than me. I am now a first-year student at Grinnell College and play on the men’s basketball team. I plan to major in either Psychology or Economics. Some of my favorite hobbies to do in my free time are play sports, hang with friends, work out, go to the beach, listen to music, and travel.

My name is Jack Ruhanen, and I am 21 years old. I was originally born in Sydney, Australia, but currently reside in Bronxville, New York. A fun fact about me is that I hold dual citizenship. I am in my third year at Grinnell College, and I am majoring in Political Science and History. I also play on the Men’s Basketball Team. In my free time, I like to play chess, go to the gym, watch poker, and spend time with family and friends. This was my first opportunity to learn about Ukrainian Athletics in depth, and I am very grateful I had the opportunity to do so.

My name is Bradley West and I am 19 years old. I am currently a freshman on the Grinnell Football team playing at tight end. Before coming to Grinnell, I lived in Sacramento California. I plan to major in Economics and Political Science. During my free time, I play video games, poker, and spend time with my family and friends. The best fast food place is In N Out. I am thankful for the opportunity to teach myself and others about Ukrainian sports.

I’m Will Cloake, I am 19 years old and am currenty a freshman at Grinnell college. I play Quarterback at Grinnell college for the football team. I am a history and maybe Econ major. Before coming to Grinnell, I lived in Riverside California. During my freetime I enjoy watching football (My favorite team is the cheifs), playing video games, working out, and spending time with family. My favorite place to eat has go to be Del Taco.

My name is Bennett Destino, and I am from Orinda, California, a San Francisco suburb. I am a first-year student at Grinnell College, playing running back for the football team. In high school, along with playing football, I ran track and played baseball. Playing sports has interested me since I was young, and during my free time, I enjoy watching football, baseball, and basketball. Outside of sports, I enjoy learning about historical events. I intend to major in history, and specifically, I am most interested in European history.

My name is Joey and I am a freshman who plans on majoring in psychology at Grinnell College. I’ve played basketball my whole life through high school and now I help coach my brother’s youth team.
